Our goal is to create a hospitable, welcoming and distraction free environment for guests and members

so they know they matter to us and they matter to God.

Parking Team

On Sundays from 9:15 until 10:15. This team places our Mission Point signs on route 9, First Time Guest signs on 9th Street and MP Kid sign in the lot. Direct guest and members into the lot with a smile and a wave. In case of rain, provide umbrella coverage to those arriving. Wears an orange reflective vest so they are easy to spot and identified as a Mission Point volunteer.

Serve once per month or more.


Greeters

Serve on Sundays from 9:15 until 10:10. Positioned at our entrances, greet with a friendly smile and handshake. Provide our weekly bulletin and any other pertinent information. Be knowledgeable of locations in Mission Point to direct guests.

Sunday Hospitality Team

*Saturday afternoon/evening and/or Sunday morning. Set up coffee urns and drink dispensers and all of the items necessary for our guests/members to enjoy our Cafe before our Sunday Service.

*Refill anything that needs it & clean up and store all items after service.

Service once per month or more.


Next Steps

Serve on Sundays 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after service. Greet first time guests and those who visit Next Steps. Be knowledgeable of current events and offerings of Mission Point. Help guests navigate their Next Step answer questions, and obtain their contact information so that Director of Connections can follow up with them.
