The book of Exodus is a powerful picture of God’s covenant with Abraham being faithfully worked out. We see that promise unfolding as the Creator of the universe delivers His people from centuries of oppression and slavery in Egypt - All through the leadership of a man named Moses. God provides for their needs, reveals His power through signs and wonders, and establishes His law to guide their relationship with both Him and one another. Ultimately, the book of Exodus points beyond itself, foreshadowing a greater fulfillment and redemption in Jesus Christ.
